Performing Ensembles
The nationally acclaimed Wildcat Marching Band is known as “The Finest Band in the Land.”
NUMB performs for all home football games and at other university events across campus and the nation. Conducted by faculty from the Bienen School of Music and sponsored by the Department of Athletics, the band include students from nearly every major and school at Northwestern.
Lecturer
Michael Parker is a conductor, clinician, and adjudicator and serves as Director of Athletic Bands at Northwestern University. In his role, he directs the “Wildcat” Marching Band, Basketball Band, Concert Band, and teaches courses in conducting.
