Celebrating the centennial of Northwestern University Bands

Since the establishment of the Department of Bands in 1926 under Glenn Cliffe Bainum, students and faculty have built one of the nation's premier collegiate band programs. This centennial season celebrates not only a remarkable history, but also the people who made it possible: the students, faculty, alumni, families, and friends whose dedication and generosity have sustained Northwestern Bands for a century. As we honor our first hundred years, we look forward to the next century of artistry, innovation, and impact.
