Independent Study offers students opportunities to extend their classroom work and to enrich their curriculum with supervised study of topics not normally covered by existing courses.
Independent study (399-0) should be used to complement previous studies, and may not be used for topics covered in existing courses. No more than one unit of 399 may be taken during the same quarter. Independent study may not be taken as a P/N option, and must be taken under the supervision of full-time faculty.
