Karen Kan-Walsh and Julian Kwok, piano

Coordinator of keyboard skills and non-major piano at the Bienen School, Karen Kan-Walsh has given performances in Russia and China, as well as throughout the Chicago and Ann Arbor areas. An active member of the Illinois State Music Teachers Association, she also served as a reviewer for Clavier magazine. Guest collaborative pianist Julian Kwok (‘03 DMus) maintains a private voice studio in New York and holds certificates in vocal and clarinet performance as well as diplomas in piano performance from the Royal Schools of Music, London. Their program showcases music for piano, four hands as well as Bach’s Concerto for Two Harpsichords in C Minor, featuring an ensemble conducted by Stephen Alltop.
