Liang-He Duo (Xiaomin Liang and Jue He)
Grand prize winner of the 18th Tokyo International Duo Piano Competition, third prize winner in the Liszt 200 International Two-Piano Competition, and Chicagoland’s first Young Steinway Artists, the Liang-He Duo has received acclaim for its artistry and synchronicity. They open the Duo Piano Master Classes with a selection of works for four hands. Prior to their performance, alumni of the Duo Piano Master Classes present a brief recital.

Located in the Ryan Center for the Musical Arts, this 400-seat hall features a 40-foot glass wall offering views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. Undulating walls of Forest Stewardship Council–certified wood, covered with a thin layer of African moabi wood, provide optimal acoustics, and the hall is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and video equipment for recording.
