Bachelor of Music: Bass Trombone

Prescreening required; must be video format. Video should be taken from right side so mouthpiece is clearly visible.

Prescreening and audition unaccompanied. If possible, prescreening repertoire should be separated into different video files. It is also acceptable to upload a single video file that contains all required prescreening repertoire. Please see the Bienen School Supplement for more information. 

Fall 2027 Audition Dates: 

Early Decision: November 9 | Regular Decision: February 6 & 13

For Prescreening and Final Audition:

All repertoire required. No substitutions.

Solo Selection:

  • Lebedev, Concerto

Orchestral Excerpts:

  • Berlioz, The Damnation of Faust  "Hungarian March"  

  • Haydn, The Creation

  • Mahler, Symphony No. 7, first movement

  • Schumann, Symphony No. 3, fourth movement

  • Wagner, Die Walküre "Ride of the Valkyries," B-Major section
