The Kellogg School of Management’s monthly podcast “Insight in Person” recently explored why business leaders are turning to the arts—from storytelling to jazz ensemble, Argentine tango to tap—for insights into how to do their own jobs better. A panel of guests, including the Bienen School’s Stephen Alltop, senior lecturer of conducting and ensembles, discussed using arts-based experiential learning to bring epiphanies to executives.

Other speakers included Michelle Buck, a Kellogg School professor; Michael Gold, a jazz bandleader and director of the arts consultancy Jazz Impact; and Jenai Cutcher West, a tap dancer and instructor.
