Magda, a courtesan and mistress of the wealthy Rambaldo, enjoys high society life but dreams of true love. During a palm reading at a party, Magda learns that, like the swallow, she will travel south in pursuit of romance and happiness. When the young newcomer Ruggero arrives, he and Magda quickly fall in love and run away together. However, Magda cannot escape the shadow of her past. Will the truth be revealed? 

Tickets are $18 for the general public and $8 for students with valid ID.

Cahn Auditorium is the largest performance space on campus, with more than 1,000 seats and an orchestra pit. The venue offers main floor and balcony seating. Larger Bienen School opera productions are held here.
