Music Academy Faculty Recital

Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 2:00pm CST

Galvin Recital Hall

Join the faculty of the Music Academy for a free recital to raise awareness and support for the Academy. With a Northwestern history that dates back to the late 1800s, the Bienen School’s community music division provides, piano, string, and guitar lessons to over 300 children and adults. Academy faculty members will perform a variety of solo, two-piano, and string works by W. A. Mozart, Bedřich Smetana, George Gershwin, Charles Trenet, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Dave Brubeck, and more. Donations will go directly to the Music Academy, which will allow the Academy to offer tuition support so that students of all income levels can afford music lessons.

Admission is free, but tickets are required. Donations will be accepted during the recital.
