Judicaël Perroy’s career ignited after he won first prize at the 15th Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition. He has since played at renowned venues such as Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Taipei’s National Concert Hall, Mexico’s Teatro de la República, and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw. Perroy has recorded ten full-length albums, two of which are dedicated to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and Manuel María Ponce (both released by Naxos). He also recorded a recital album premiering works by Ourkouzounov and Bogdanović (released by GHA in 2024). As a highly sought-after teacher, Perroy has been invited to major universities and conservatories around the world, and many of his students have been awarded top prizes in international competitions. As a sitting professor, he has served at the École Supérieure Musique et Danse de France in Lille since 2012, at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music from 2017 to 2020 (succeeding Sérgio Assad), and at the Haute École de Musique de Genève since September 2020 (succeeding Dušan Bogdanović).

Located in the Ryan Center for the Musical Arts, this 400-seat hall features a 40-foot glass wall offering views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. Undulating walls of Forest Stewardship Council–certified wood, covered with a thin layer of African moabi wood, provide optimal acoustics, and the hall is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and video equipment for recording.
