In collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago, the distinguished Italian violinists Antonio Pellegrino and Dino De Palma join the Baroque Music Ensemble to present Vivaldi’s ever-popular The Four Seasons. Pellegrino and De Palma bring significant experience performing as concertmasters for multiple orchestras in Italy. A principal violin teacher at the Conservatory of Music “L. Peros” in Campobosso, Antonio Pellegrino composed film scores for Il Postino and Life Is Beautiful. A violin professor at the Conservatory “U. Giordano” in Foggia, Dino De Palma has recorded film scores by Ennio Morricone, Luis Bacalov, and Nicola Piovani.

About
Pick-Staiger is a 972-seat hall located in the Arts Circle on the Evanston campus of Northwestern University. The main lobby entrance for concerts is on the west side of the building (revolving and regular doors). Since its inception in 1975, the hall has functioned as both a classroom and performance facility for Bienen School of Music performing ensembles, faculty recitals, festivals, and professional guest artists.
