Deurim Jung performs Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson’s Blue/s Forms for Solo Violin, movements I. Plain Blue/s and III. Jettin’ Blue/s. Jung is a violin student of Gerardo Ribeiro.
This video was produced in conjunction with the Bienen School of Music’s 2021 Thaviu Endowed Scholarship Competition in String Performance. All competitors were required to perform a work by a Black composer.
