Bachelor of Music: Tenor Trombone

Prescreening required; must be video format. Video should be shot from left side so mouthpiece is clearly visible.

Prescreening and audition unaccompanied. If possible, prescreening repertoire should be separated into different video files. It is also acceptable to upload a single video file that contains all required prescreening repertoire. Please see the Bienen School Supplement for more information.

All repertoire required. No substitutions.

  • Berlioz, The Damnation of Faust  “Hungarian March” (second trombone)

  • Mozart, Requiem “Tuba Mirum” (second trombone)

  • Ravel, Boléro

  • Saint-Saëns, Symphony No. 3 in C minor, slow movement

  • Wagner, Die Walküre “Ride of the Valkyries,” B-Major section
