Audition & Program Requirements

Bachelor of Music: Music Cognition

For Prescreening and Final Audition:

In addition to a performance audition on the applicant’s primary instrument (including prescreening, if applicable), the applicant should submit an essay discussing the formal, stylistic, and/or performance aspects of a piece of music of their choice. Essay must be submitted by December 1 (October 15 for Early Decision applicants).
